Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, and Springfield Armory make the pistols people actually carry and train with. They are reliable, well supported, and easy to live with. For a first handgun or a dependable daily companion, this is where most conversations begin.
Heckler & Koch, CZ, Walther, FN, and Beretta reward a closer look. Their triggers, ergonomics, and engineering give a collector or experienced shooter something to appreciate. These are the pistols people grow into, not out of.
Staccato, Shadow Systems, and Wilson Combat represent the top of the bench — tighter tolerances, deliberate detailing, and a feel you notice the moment you pick one up. For the buyer who wants the best example of what a modern pistol can be.
