The idea for a shop is born
I had the crazy idea of selling guns online and creating a store my friends and family would be proud of. I wanted to create a new shopping experience, not the average dingy gun store with a poor selection and a bunch of fuds standing around. I aimed to create an upmarket experience to bring new shooters into the sport. Our website is easy to shop, and our staff is friendly and willing to help.
I started building my website and got my FFL
Getting my FFL was the first step after I got the idea to get into selling firearms and sporting goods. The goal for our online store was to create a clean, simple online shopping experience that was friendly and fun to use. Our Mission
Our Mission Is To Make Firearms Knowledge and Shooting Sports More Accessible To Everyone.
The first time I went to look for a gun, I could have had a better experience. I felt out of place, and the store in Texas I was at seemed more like a museum than a professional place with experts on modern firearms. Also, the guy helping me was opinionated and thought he was super “tacticool.” I knew I could outrun this guy, and I was not happy. I don’t think customer service mattered; I did not buy anything that day. My boyfriend at the time (now husband) was into guns at the time, and he had taken me shooting, but my exposure was limited to what he had in his collection. I wanted to know more, so I started looking at things online.
I realized that you could learn a lot from YouTube: “gun guys” and a few “gun girls.” Several were good, some funny, and some outright nuts. Still not satisfied, I decided to go to the NRA show, and that is where I realized that there were a ton of options out there and that I had a lot of learning to do! My goals became to learn how to sell guns and get licensed so I could see them all! I also wanted to create a new, friendly shopping experience, one that was fun and inviting.
